Johannes Kempin,
was born in 1959, as a son of two musicians. He studied with
Johannes Kempin continued his studies at the with Gertrud and Karlheinz Zoeller at the Hamburg and Berlin Music Academies. He received his artist's diploma in 1988. Kempin gave many recitals and recorded for several German radio stations. Until his immigration he subsituted in the Hamburg State Opera.
Since 1990, Johannes Kempin devides his
time between Israel and Germany, playing in both countries, in particulary
as a solo flautist at the Israel Sinfonietta. He performs in several chamber
